Pentax has really done well.
I have been shooting with a Pentax K20D for a couple of years and love the camera, the sole problems that I had with it are eliminated in the K5. I actually have had a K5 for just over a month and are putting it though its paces. The ISO is superb shooting as 6400 appears like 800 or less in their older cameras. they need moved the controls around that bothered me somewhat at first but they really are much more intuitive and far easier to use, another improvement. I the auto focus problems are taken care of particularly if you us a DA* lens. i am using the 50-135 DA* likewise as a number of non star lenses. The star lens is superb, nice image quality, good speed, wonderful bokah, and the auto focus is extremely sensible and just about silent. it had been easy to specialize in the trees outside my windows then on the pains cross members while not the auto focus getting confused. I actually havent done abundant with the video nonetheless but what I have done appearance nice. I definately would recommend this camera, it performs splendidly.
